This summer, there's an astonishing number of good deals on music software: Line 6 currently offers free licenses for their POD farm (usual selling price about €95)! The POD farm is a collection of guitar amps and effects (that is of interest for bassists as well…) and can be compared to Guitar Rig or the IK Multimedia AmpliTube products. There's only one caveat: You need to have either an iLok USB dongle or a compatible Line6 device.
